Need a custom look? Bring your logo and we’ll use it; if you don’t have one, we can redraw it for the sign. Our designers work with you from building to vehicles; you’ll see photo-real mockups on your site plus drawings before we build, so you can tweak and approve with confidence.
We started Advanced Electric Signs in 1992 because we got tired of watching businesses get the runaround from sign companies that didn’t show up or stand behind their work. So we built one that does. When you call, you get Dave, Tara, Woody, or someone on our team who actually knows your project. No call centers, no runaround. Just honest work and signs we’re proud to put our name on.
The shop is family-owned and in its second generation now, and we’re excited to have the third generation coming up, learning the same care for quality and service we built this place on.

We’re a second-generation, family-owned sign company in Woodland, WA, and the third generation is already on the way. We build and install electronic message centers (EMCs), channel letters, LED signs, and pylon signs; we retrofit existing signs to LED when your housing is still good; and we repair what we install and what we didn’t.
Franchise & multi-unit: we work often with franchisees and know how to hit corporate sign specs in every detail (The Barbers is one example), so your program book isn’t approximated in the shop.
Budget-friendly: it doesn’t have to be all brand-new; we keep used cabinets and signs in our yard when we can reuse them, put your logo on new faces, and work with what you already have on site when that stretches your dollar furthest.
True one-stop shop: you don’t need a pole or footing in place. We can handle utility locate, engineered drawings when required, footings, rebar, and concrete, pole or structure, then design and install the sign so you are not stressed coordinating half a dozen trades.
Before we fabricate, you’ll get visual mockups on photos of your location plus drawings—preview, adjust, and approve. Have a logo? Great, we use your art. Need one? We can redraw it for the sign.
We work with property managers and businesses across Washington and Oregon; permitting from start to finish: engineered drawings, electrical permits, sign permits. Woodland, Vancouver, Portland, Longview, and the I-5 corridor.
