Ground signs

Monument Signs

Ground-mounted signs for businesses, churches, schools, and multi-tenant properties. We build the cabinet, pour the footing, get the permit, and install it.

Your front door at the road

A monument sign people see before they turn in

A monument sign sits low at your entrance, where drivers and walkers read it at eye level. It tells people they have found the right place and makes the property look established.

We design and fabricate monuments in our UL Listed shop in Woodland, WA: aluminum cabinets, acrylic or polycarbonate faces, vinyl graphics, and LED lighting. Every job starts with a PDF proof so you can approve the layout, colors, and size before we build.

Need to change the message often? We can build an electronic message center into the monument.

Monument sign options

Illuminated cabinets

Internally lit aluminum cabinets with acrylic or polycarbonate faces that read day and night.

Non-illuminated

Painted aluminum with dimensional letters or vinyl graphics, for a clean look without power.

Double-sided

Faces on both sides so traffic from either direction can read it.

EMC sections

Add a full-color or single-color LED display for events, specials, and announcements.

New faces on an old base

If the cabinet is sound, new faces and LED lighting can update the look for far less.

Get a Quote

How much does a monument sign cost?
It depends on the size, single or double-sided, illuminated or not, the base material, and whether we can reuse an existing base. We give free estimates with a PDF proof. Call (360) 225-6826 or use the form below.
Can you add an electronic message center to a monument?
Yes. An EMC section is one of the most common monument upgrades for schools, churches, and retail. See electronic message centers.
Do you pour the footing?
Yes. We handle utility locate, engineered drawings when the city requires them, excavation, rebar, and concrete, then set and wire the sign. There does not need to be anything on site yet.
Can you just replace the faces on our monument?
Yes. If the cabinet is sound, new faces and LED lighting are often far less than a new sign. Our Carl’s Jr. proof below shows replacement faces for two monuments in Hillsboro.
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. Monument signs usually need a sign permit and an electrical permit, and some cities set height and setback limits. We check the code and submit the permit. See sign permitting.
