Tall signs

Pylon and Pole Signs

Tall freestanding signs for retail, restaurants, dealerships, and shopping centers. Engineered, fabricated, and set with our own crane.

Seen from the highway

The sign that gets drivers to exit

A pylon or pole sign puts your name high enough to be seen over traffic, trees, and other buildings. For businesses on I-5, Highway 99, Mill Plain, and other busy roads, it is often the sign that brings in the most customers.

We build pylons from structural steel and aluminum, single-tenant or multi-tenant, engineered for wind and load. The cabinets, faces, and lighting are made in our UL Listed shop in Woodland, WA.

Our CCO Crane Certified operators set the poles and cabinets with our own equipment, so your install date does not depend on a crane rental.

Get a Quote

How much does a pylon sign cost?
Pylon pricing depends on height, cabinet size, the number of tenant panels, illumination, the footing, and crane time. We give free estimates. Call (360) 225-6826 or use the form below.
Can you reuse our existing pole?
Often, yes. If the pole and footing are sound, we can repaint, convert to LED, and install new faces or a new cabinet. We will tell you plainly if the structure needs to be replaced.
Do you have your own crane?
Yes. Our operators are CCO Crane Certified and CDL licensed, so we do not wait on a crane rental to set a cabinet or pole. See crane and lift service.
Can you change tenant panels?
Yes. We make and swap tenant panels for multi-tenant centers and keep them matched to the rest of the sign. See signs for property managers.
Do pylon signs need engineering?
Most new pylons need engineered drawings for wind and load, plus sign and electrical permits. We coordinate the engineering and the permit as part of the job.
Can you take down an old pylon?
Yes. We remove pylons and pole signs when a business closes or a property changes hands, with crane support and electrical disconnect.
